Each year, the Atlantic Provinces Library Association (APLA) organises a professional conference open to all library workers. The APLA annual conference travels from province to province, and in 2014 it will be held from June 3 – 6 at the Delta Beauséjour in Moncton, NB.
The conference is an important professional development and networking opportunity for library workers from across the Atlantic Provinces. Delegates are comprised of approximately 250 librarians and library support workers from academic, special, and public libraries. This year’s theme will focus on library staff stepping into the spotlight through advocacy, outreach, and marketing initiatives. Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in workshops and attend presentations that aim to inspire as well as hone their skills to better promote library services and collections.

Financial donations
Donations in any and all amounts will be gratefully received and will help cover costs of meals, conference grants for attendees in need, as well as various other costs normally associated with professional conferences.
In-kind Donations
The Planning Committee will gratefully receive items that could be used in prize draws or included in approximately two hundred and fifty delegates’ welcome packages. An interesting alternative would be offering our delegates a discount for shopping at your business for the duration of the conference.
